Your information matters
Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026 · My Power Savings · joinpowersavings.com
We don't sell or rent your personal information, or share it with unrelated marketers. We use it to review your electricity-savings options and contact you about your request. This policy covers our website and review and privacy-request forms.
Information we collect
- Your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, state, electric provider, preferred contact method and optional best contact time.
- If supplied, your county, household size, answer about whether income is at or below a stated limit, and selected benefit program. The form asks for a threshold answer, not your actual income amount.
- Optional utility bills and their contents, which may include account numbers, service address, electricity usage and charges, plus file names and file details.
- Your contact consent, the wording accepted and the time recorded; review results and communication records associated with your request.
- Campaign tags (UTM), referral website hostname or other source information, and a hash derived from an IP address for abuse prevention. Hosting providers may also process IP addresses and technical request logs.
- For privacy requests, your email, optional name, request type, optional message, submission time and review status.
How we use information
We use it for eligibility review, responding to and contacting you about your request, enrollment assistance if you request it, handling privacy requests, and operating and protecting the site. Submitting a savings review and agreeing to contact is not enrollment, a signature, or permission to share information with arbitrary programs. Any enrollment agreement and program terms are separate.
Who may receive information
Authorized team members can review requests. Necessary service providers process information to run the site, including Lovable Cloud hosting, database and private file storage. Google Fonts receives technical connection information when your browser loads our fonts. Lovable's hosted site services also process visit and technical information described below.
Service providers supporting communications may process the contact details and message content needed to respond to your request. We will update this policy if our practices change.
We share information with a program provider only with your permission for requested eligibility or enrollment assistance. We may also disclose information when required by law or as reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate abuse or meet legal obligations. We do not share it with unrelated marketers.
Analytics, cookies and browser storage
Our Lovable-hosted site includes platform visit analytics, such as page visits, referral sources, device categories, approximate location and session activity, plus technical performance and interaction events. Hosted scripts use cookies or browser storage for visit/session identifiers and can read page URLs, campaign and referral information. Sign-in also uses browser storage to maintain authorized team sessions. Google Fonts is loaded externally. We have not added a TikTok pixel, Meta pixel or Google Analytics integration to the site code. We do not intentionally send form answers or bill contents to analytics.
We do not claim the site is cookie-free: hosting, security and third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies. Your browser's controls can limit cookies and storage, although some functions may be affected. Please avoid putting personal information in links or campaign tags.
Safeguards and retention
Lead access requires an authorized admin role. Bills are stored privately, with admin-only download links that expire after 60 seconds. Privacy requests are not publicly readable; only authorized admins can read them and update review status. We use server-side validation and abuse protections, alongside restricted access and reasonable technical safeguards. No system or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
We retain information only as needed for your request and legitimate legal or business requirements. Retention and requests may be affected by records we must reasonably keep, including security records or provider backups.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can request access, correction, deletion, or that we stop contacting you through our privacy request form. A person reviews these requests; submitting the form does not automatically delete data or stop communications. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing sensitive information, using only information reasonably necessary. Do not send Social Security numbers, account passwords, or bills through the privacy request form.
Your rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law. We review requests and will explain any limits that apply.
Policy updates
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. Any new use or sharing that needs your permission will not be authorized just by this notice.
